Oats, Honey And Beeswax Soap
This homemade beeswax soap being made out of honey is one of the bests you can find for dry skin. However; this also makes for a fine soap for all skin types, considering the mild skin exfoliating properties oats lends to it. You will need beeswax, lye, grapefruit seed extract, olive oil, spring water, palm oil, organic honey, castor oil, coconut oil and last but not the least, rolled oats to make this soap.
To make this soap, heat up all the oils in a pan. Pour the lye and water mixture into the oil mixture. Add oats, grapefruit seed extract and honey to the mixture. Pour the mixture into a prepared soap mould, cover and wait for at least 24 hours to allow the soap to cool down and take the shape of the mould.
Chocolaty Beeswax Soap
Combined with the goodness and moisturizing properties of cocoa powder, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil, this soap is beneficial for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Ingredients used for making this soap are – olive oil, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, coconut oil, lye, sweet almond oil, hazelnut oil, yellow beeswax, canola oil, black cherry fragrance oil and distilled water.
Dissolve the cocoa powder to one of the halves of the soap mixture. Drop the soap mixture in alternating manner in the mould. Repeat the layering process and then give a light stir to mix the brown mixture partially into the white mixture. Allow the soap to cool down for 24 hours before removing it from mould and cutting into individual slices.
Beeswax Aloe Vera Soap
This moisturising soap can be prepared by mixing lye and water mixture with extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, aloe vera juice and mint essential oil. Follow the same process as discussed above to mix the ingredients. Stir the mixture every 15 minutes while it cools down, until it attains the consistency off mayonnaise. Pour the soap mixture into mould of your choice; allow it to stand for 2-3 days or until it hardens.
Raw Honey Soap
To prepare this nourishing soap, combine lye, water, castor oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, shea butter, olive oil, honey, coconut oil and tallow. Combine the ingredients, while mixing the honey at last. Cool the mixture in a mould and cut in individual slices to use.
